This is a question I get asked alot…
I use a gorgeous Jill-E black leather camera bag and it holds nearly all the gear I own, and people, that is a LOT [I'm a gear head LOL!]. I bought the Jill-E because I wanted a ‘girly’ camera bag and honestly have to say that it is as well-designed, beautiful and functional as they promised. If you are looking for a ‘girly’ camera bag, you can’t beat for looks and function, it’s won a number of awards and most recently the PopCamera Editors Choice for 2008. I’ve even used it as a carry on bag with limited gear and my travel ‘stuff’ like passport, wallet, small make-up bag and a couple of magazines – I love it!
For location and shoots with need for limited gear, I carry my basics [70-200mm f/2.8, 50mm f/1.8 and 35mm f/2.0 ] in a ShootSac with my 24-70mm on my camera body. The Canon 580EX flash fits in the ShootSac as well. Love this arrangement.
Anyways, here it is, the daunting list of my gear:
