With the last few of my scheduled family shoots happening this weekend, the praying for sun (or at least no rain) has begun.
Most of my late fall family sessions are destined to be Christmas gifts for family and friends – particularly the grandparents. So, when the last few weeks before Christmas start with rain and windstorms, I start worrying about being able to get my scheduled shoots finished in time.
Not only are the scheduled shoot tough to reschedule with unpredictable fall weather, but also an issue is the fast dwindling evening winter daylight hours. That means rescheduling can only happen on weekends, since after workhours are basically dark. Dark makes for tough natural light family photography lol!
So, my friends and clients, please keep a kind thought for me this weekend as I negotiate with the weather gods for a rain-free Sunday.
