Often an image, particularly a fashion oriented one, is shot in studio and needs to be layered into another environment to achieve a certain look for a client or project.
The images below featuring Isis Noir as an urban geisha. The first image is the original image shot in Vancouver. The second image is a composite of the original image of Isis layered into a image of a street in Tokyo, Japan. Pretty fun huh? It just goes to show that if you are shooting on a limited budget and have access to stock photography, your fashion shoot can happen anywhere… Yes, even in Japan!
