I was supposed to finally shoot a twice rescheduled ‘hippie-chic in the country’ editorial fashion shoot this weekend. And as usual this spring in Vancouver, I had to reschedule due to RAIN.
I’ve been itching to shoot something fun and with a slight 80s twist to the styling for a long time now, so yesterday I came up with a ‘plan b’ in case of rain today. The storyline behind the creative was a party girl gets dumped by her boyfriend. Big hair, edgy 80s inspired make-up, fun club styling and a dark moody location. Guess what, we had to activate PLAN B. That meant shooting indoors – the location? An underground parking lot that I have access to. It was quiet, moody and had great architectural features for a parkade. Best of all… it was DRY!
I’ve been going through the film from this shoot. I have to say, it’s been tough picking a favorite. That’s always a good thing I think… so, while I continue to plow through the film, I thought I would share a few of my favorites from the afternoon/evening shoot. Enjoy the eye candy; there is alot of it today =)
