I love my neighbourhood. Now there is even more to love with the addition of a few new shops in the area. A clothing store called Violet Hill and a nail-waxing-blowdry bar called Lacquer Beauty Bar.
Today, I had a lovely pedicure at Lacquer Beauty Bar, and I will definitely be returning for more. The pedicure cost was very reasonable. I had my toenails de-polished, trimmed, shaped, foot massage/sloughing and re-polished. It was relatively quick for a pedicure [at 45+ minutes for service plus a 10 minute wait for polish drying]. I would have had a blow dry, but their new stylist is starting tomorrow.
The decor is fresh, crisp white, with touches of red and aqua. They have a big screen LCD tv above the bar so if you just want to zone out and watch a girl movie, you have that as the option. Today’s movie was Julie + Julia. I had my camera with me and took this photo of the interior. See what I mean? FRESH!
It was a nice way to spend an hour and I will definitely be back for more!
