Spotted in a local, busy street median under a pine tree. This colony is going to be chopped down by the Parks Dept. on Wednesday, so I booked out there to capture these dangerous, high-flying ‘shrooms before they’re cut down. The mushroom is the ‘magic’ variety and is called Amanita Muscaria.
I love my neighbourhood. Now there is even more to love with the addition of a few new shops in the area. A clothing store called Violet Hill and a nail-waxing-blowdry bar called Lacquer Beauty Bar.
