Had another shoot tonight. A sweet couple having their first baby – a boy! We met at the beach near Jericho Yacht Club in Vancouver and Mom-to-be was beaming and looked lovely in a maxi-dress with a cool print.
The weather the last few days has been very weird… overcast in Vancouver and east of the city, sunny and clear after morning ‘marine layer’ burns off in Richmond. Today started in Richmond as overcast, marine layer sky with low light grey clouds, then by 4pm it was clear and cloudless; the Vancouver sky a different story, grey, heavy cloud threatening rain! It turned out to be a blessing in disguise – it made for nice, even lighting and kept the beach from being too busy.
